FROM NORTH TEXAS:
Safe Sport and Background Checks
"The Safe Sport certifications and background checks expired at the end of May. Both must be completed annually, and both expire for everyone at the same time.
All adults listed on youth rosters, as well as administrators, volunteers, and employees need to do their background checks, and either do their original Safe Sport training, or their refresher course (a 15 minute quick refresher),before the fall season begins".
SAFESPORT CERTIFICATIONS EXPIRE MAY 31 EVERY YEAR AND MUST BE RENEWED EVERY YEAR.
North Texas Soccer Clubs :
Protection of the children is a priority for all of us at North Texas Soccer and we know it is for you.
As of July 1, 2019 SafeSport Course Certification will be mandatory for all Coaches, Managers, Administrators (Member Association and Clubs), Volunteers, Employees, and Referees.
Coaches and managers must have completed certification before being rostered to a youth team .
Everyone must access this course through his or her Gotport profile to insure course certification reflects as completed in his or her profile.
If you have previously taken the course and your profile does not reflect completion for this course please send in a copy of your certificates to Brittany Campbell, brittany@ntxsoccer.org and she will have your account updated.
We have an instruction sheet you can place on your website and/or send out to your members concerning Background Check, SafeSport Course Certification and CDC Heads-up Concussion Course. Click here for the link
