The Arlington Soccer Association was formed by a group of volunteers more than 35 years ago. Since then, thousands of children and adults have enjoyed the beautiful game. The tireless efforts of today’s volunteers make the ASA the best place to play in Arlington.
At ASA, soccer is our business. It’s ALL we do. Our goal is to provide each player with a safe, fun and rewarding atmosphere in which to learn to the game. Each child will have the opportunity to grow as an athlete and as a teammate. They will learn the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship. They will learn to think and react quickly while developing soccer-related skills. And they will have the opportunity to graduate to higher levels of competition, if they so choose.
As a member of North Texas Soccer and U.S Youth Soccer , the ASA is able to offer both recreational and competitive level teams for girls and boys. In addition, to regular league games, teams are encouraged to enter local tournaments, and players are given the opportunity to attend camps and clinics to improve their skills.
Being a member of the Arlington Soccer Association will give your child opportunities and memories that will last a lifetime.
Arlington Soccer Association’s purpose is to promote soccer by developing players, coaches, parents and spectators.
ASA offers a soccer program for recreational players, age 3 through age 19.
Our teams are coached by parent volunteers.
Games are played mostly on Saturdays and Sundays.
This program is intended to be a fun and enjoyable experience for all players.
All recreational players are guaranteed to play 50% of each game.
ASA Recreational leagues are first and foremost a place where children can learn the game of soccer while having fun.
Our hopes are that our program can used as a stepping stone to higher levels of soccer or just continue to be great exercise and fun for the children.
Parents are encouraged to get involved as coaches, managers and team parents in order to learn the great game of soccer and have a great time with their players!
