Referee Abuse Prevention Policy

Coaches, Manager's, Players and Parent's-

Effective March 1st, U.S. Soccer has implemented a Referee Abuse Prevention program for all YOUTH and AMATEUR soccer.

This Policy (531-9) is in regard to the increasing verbal and physical abuse and assault toward referees not only in our sport of soccer but across all sports.

This Policy covers our USYS Association, as well as every soccer association including US Club Soccer (ECNL, RL, RLNTX), Frontier League, National League, E64, USPL, etc.

Please read through the attached documentation from US Soccer, outlining both non-physical and physical offenses and the penalties associated with these actions; for all club / team personnel, players and parents.  Please note, these are minimum penalties and in all cases are in addition to any League, Event, Tournament, or NTSSA sanctions.

This Policy (531-9) becomes effective and enforced beginning this Saturday!  For more information visit https://www.ussoccer.com/rap
